Fr.
Auer was one of the profs who joined the Q staff while we were there. If
my memory serves me right, he would come out to the ice rink on Thursdays for
some hockey with us. Once when Pierre Pilote came out and skated with us
he was charging Fr. Auer who just slumped to the boards! If he had a white
flag he would have surrendered! Peace and eternal rest, Fr.

BEREAVEMENT NEWS
Reverend Joseph Auer, 89, ordination class of 1957, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020. Father Auer served in many parishes, most recently at St. Linus before retiring in 2001.

Interment will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.
Father Mark Walter will be the main Celebrant and Father Bill Corcoran Homilist. Priests are invited to concelebrate and are asked to bring an alb and white or archdiocesan stole. Bishops are welcome to attend in choir dress and are asked to advise the parish of their participation.
